Terms of use

These terms cover the Notifee bot and the dashboard at notifee.in. Adding the bot to a Discord server, or signing in to the dashboard, means you accept them. If you are adding Notifee to a server you administer, you accept them on behalf of that server.

What Notifee does

You choose creators on YouTube or Twitch; when one uploads, premieres or goes live, Notifee posts a message in a Discord channel you chose. It reads public information from those platforms and delivers messages through Discord.

Notifee uses YouTube API Services, so by using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What you need

• The Manage Server permission in any server you configure.
• A Discord account in good standing, used in line with Discord's own terms.
• Permission from the server's owner, if that is not you.

Fair use

Don't use Notifee to:

• send unsolicited messages, or mention roles and members in a way your server has not agreed to;
• break Discord's terms, or those of YouTube or Twitch;
• work around the limits of a plan, including by spreading trackers across servers you control to avoid them;
• attack, overload or probe the service, or attempt to reach data belonging to other servers.

We may remove the bot from a server, disable trackers, or suspend an account that does any of these, and we may do so without notice where the service or other users are at risk.

What we don't promise

Notifee is provided as it is, without warranty. Notifications depend on Discord, YouTube and Twitch, and on parts of their infrastructure we do not control — during a four-day outage of Google's notification hub in September 2026, for instance, YouTube notifications arrived late because we fell back to polling. We do not guarantee that a notification will arrive, that it will arrive promptly, or that the service will be available at any given moment.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in advance if we can.

Plans and payment

Every server is on the free plan. Larger limits are granted by our staff for now, and nothing is charged. If paid plans are introduced, the terms for them will be published before anyone is asked to pay, and existing servers will not be charged without agreeing first.

Your content

Message templates, channel choices and the rest of a server's configuration belong to that server. We store them to run the service, and delete them 30 days after the bot is removed. What Notifee posts is drawn from public information published by the creators you follow; we don't claim it, and we're not responsible for it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Notifee is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a notification that was late, duplicated or never sent. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by removing the bot from your servers and, if you wish, asking us to delete your account. We may end your access if you breach these terms.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use Notifee after that means accepting the new version.
